Council of Albanian Ambassadors hosted the Charge d’Affairs of the USA Embassy in Tirana, Mr. David Wisner.

The board of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors had the pleasure to host the Charge d’Affairs of the USA Embassy in Tirana, Mr. David Wisner and Ms. Allison Dyess, Chief of Political and Economic Section, for an open and friendly exchange of views.

We reiterated the importance of further deepening our bilateral relations, and discussed future endeavors to strengthening our strategic partnership, especially in view of worrying global developments.
We remain committed to addressing pressing challenges on areas related to rule of law, fight against organized crime and drug trafficking, strengthening democratic institutions, including free and fair elections, as fundamental reform areas in our EU accession agenda.

The mission of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors is to support our National Foreign Policy as well as to provide professional assistance on behalf of the nation’s interests in the field of international relations.
