The Council of Albanian Ambassadors extends its congratulations to the citizens, institutions and political parties in Kosovo for the successful conduct of the early parliamentary elections of 6 October 2019.
The Council notes with satisfaction that they took place in a calm setting, marking also a substantial increase of the turn-out in these elections. Likewise, we do highly appreciate the recognition of the election result by all parties concerned.
While wishing “Vetëvendosja” and “LDK” for their victory, the Council of Albanian Ambassadors expresses its firm belief that the latter will also show historic responsibility in grasping the citizens’ message for change and to establish rapidly the new governing institutions, so that they could successfully meet the pressing challenges lying ahead for Kosovo.
The Council of Albanian Ambassadors believes that the new Government of Kosovo, with the mediation of our international partners will also uphold the Kosovo and national interests in the process of the dialogue with Serbia, in order to put a final end to the disagreements in the region.
