STATEMENT BY THE COUNCIL OF ALBANIAN AMBASSADORS ON THE OCCASION OF THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN ALBANIA AND CHINA

The year 2019 marks the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and China. These relations date back only a few days after the proclamation of the People’s Republic of China, on the 1st of October 1949.

The Council of Albanian Ambassadors considers the friendship between our two peoples and countries as very significant and wishes the further strengthening of these relations in all areas of mutual benefit in the future.

On the occasion of this important jubilee, the CAA encourages the transformation of Albanian-Chinese relations into the most effective cooperation, with tangible results in socio-economic developments and the welfare of our citizens.

Finally, the preparation of competitive projects by Albania’s government for financing in the framework of initiatives launched by the Chinese government would be to the interest of our country’s economic development.
