During its stay in Pristina, the delegation of the Board of Directors of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors ( CAA) was received in a Working Meeting by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Glauk Konjufca.
During this very fruitful encounter they exchanged information and suggestions on the latest developments in Kosovo and in the region.
The meeting was focused on strengthening cooperation, in view of advancing the attainment of the EU integration objective for our countries and Albanian nation by and large.
The Council of Albanian Ambassadors praised the democratic credentials of the Republic of Kosovo as an example for the whole region. In this context, they extended their appreciations for Kosovo’s application for EU membership, as an historic and fully substantiated event, showing their full-fledged support for Kosovo in achieving the required European standards.
The members of the CAA delegation and the President of Kosovo Assembly emphasized the importance of concentrating all efforts to Kosovo – Serbia negotiations facilitated by the EU and the USA, against Belgrade efforts also through its tools in Northern Kosovo for the artificial escalation of tensions, aimed at blocking the negotiations for the normalization of relations and mutual recognition of both countries, which would serve the further consolidation of peace, security and economic prosperity for the entire region.
