On this special day for Kosovo and our nation – on the birthday of the state of Kosovo, the Council of Albanian Ambassadors expresses its warmest hearfelt wishes for the unstoppable progress and for the prosperity of all its citizens.
In this 14th Anniversary of Independence, the second largest event in the history of Albanians, we have the legitimacy and pride, but also the deep national gratitude, to remember and honor all those who have worked and sacrificed for decades for this great achievement. It is the duty of us all to respond with humility and commitment to their countless sacrifices.
The Republic of Kosovo, recognized by 115 countries around the world, a member of many international organizations, reflects its responsible commitment to Western values. It is already an active contributor to security in the region and beyond.
In the second decade as an independent and sovereign state, Kosovo has proven to be a democratic country, and consolidating its western democratic values. The challenges it now faces require that unity prevail around the strategic objective of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as further recognition in the international arena.
Unanimous representation of Kosovo and coordination with strategic partners will enable the successful finalization of the mediated dialogue with Serbia – as well as the mutual recognition between the two countries.
The Council of Albanian Ambassadors expresses its deep conviction that the people and institutions of Kosovo, with determination, commitment and strategic clarity, will continue the common path in the protection and further strengthening of their state and the values of the Euro-Atlantic future of Kosovo.
