The Managing Board of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors ( CAA) received a Delegation of the Council of Ambassadors of North Macedonia (CANM), a counterpart Organization and an important partner in the region.
During this meeting, they exchanged valuable ideas and views on regional developments, the challenges of our two countries in their EU integration process and on common approaches of contribution through our expertise in these areas.
In this respect, we also shared the view that it is very important to establish contacts and an institutional cooperation with other counterpart Organizations in the region and beyond.
Another important issue during this encounter was the coordination of measures, in view of successfully organizing the visit of the Council of US Ambassadors next April in Albania, Kosova and in North Macedonia; it will be arranged by our Organizations.
We did also talk with particular emphasis on setting an institutional frame of cooperation to host events and implement projects in areas of mutual benefit for both our organizations and countries.
In this context, at the end of this meeting, the President of CAA, Mr. Besnik Mustafaj and the President of the CANM,
Mr. Muhamed Halili signed a Memorandum of Understanding between both Organizations; it will enable the strengthening of cooperation, with a view to share via joint events and projects the contribution for issues related to regional developments, the EU Integration, security, stability, consolidation of democracy and human rights in both countries.
